This is my introductory presentation on the subject of Britains None-Native Big Cats. It looks at the historical context of the subject, famous sightings & goverment documentation as evidence is introduced and discussed. Finally a broad intoductory overview of significant non-native big cat events I have investigated is presented.

None-Native Big Cats of the Welsh-Shropshire Border; Reality or Urban Myth?

Duration 90minutes then Q & A Session. © BCGB

Simmilar in presentation style to my, Britian's None-Native Big Cat's; Reality or Urban Myth? presentation above but this time centering upon on events on the Welsh / Shropshire border. I present my own video and photographic evidence of potentially predated sheep in relation to events on the border. Whilst also addressing simmilarities in predation behavoiur and locations common to all these potental big-cat hotspots.

An Analysis of Eight Years of Livestock Predation Endured by One Farming Family....

Duration 90minutes then Q & A Session. © BCGB

This presentaion can be seen as a stand alone presentation or as a follow on talk to, 'None-Native Big Cats of the Welsh / Shropshire Border; reality or urban myth?' The presentation catalogues several sightings of a 'large black cat bigger than a Labroudor' on the farm and a large number of cyclical livestock predation events on the land over a eight year period with the resultant predation pattens that emerged during this time. My own photographic and video evidence and detailed mapping of predation events on the farm are presented including video footage of unusal herding behaviours of sheep and cattle (with their calves) the latter being extreamly simmilar to Buffalo defencive hearding seen in Africa in responce to preditors. I also discuss my own experiences of what it was like to investigate on a regualar basis the farm enviroment & it's happenings.

An Analysis of a Localised Cluster of Potential Non-Native Big Cat Hotspots....

Duration 90minutes then Q & A Session. © BCGB

This presentaion can be seen as a stand alone presentation or as a follow on talk to, 'An Analisiss of Eight Years of Livestock Predation Endured by One Farming Family'. Two farming locations make up the hot-spot cluster near to the farm suffering eight years of potential prdation as mentioned above. I analise, catalougue and present the events that occured using detailed maps, images and personal video footage whilst providing an insight into the clear simmilarites between all three hot-spots.

A Further Analysis of Another Localised Cluster of Potential None-Native Big Cat Hotspots

Duration 90 minutes then Q & A Session. © BCGB

Once more this presentation can be seen as a stand alone event but is in effect a follow up talk to, 'An Analisis of a Localised Cluster of Potential None-Native Big Cat Hotspots'. The presentaion looks at three seperate investigaions ( all close to the locations in my previous talks) I undertook which showed strong evidence that regular predation of livestock was happening not consistant with predation by dogs, fox, badger or general scavenging by British wildlife. Detailed maps of the locations are shown as is orgional video footage taken by myself of the predation and the locations during these investigations. I recount two independent reports of potential none-native big cat breeding in the area and present detailed footage and analysis of potential none-native big cat pug-marks (tracks) leading from a predated sheep carcass at the top of a sand-bar, through the sand to the waters edge!

Warning; distressing images of dead animals and choice language (on video footage shown) is part of the presentation.
