'Big Cat's GB' the screenplay....

The Screenplay, 'Big Cats GB' is a self-effcing comedy based upon many of the amazing events and people I have encountered in my thirty years investigating Britain Non-Native Big Cats. Everything you read has a kurnal of truth in it though near always 'hammed-up' with the context, locations and charecters presented not attribatable to any one individual or location. All I will say is  that the script aims to poke fun at myself in what I do but also to be a respectfull thank you to the farming communities and individuals which have made my near lifelong hobby possible.

'Big Cat's GB; unhinged' the companion to the screenplay....

'Big Cat's GB; unhinged' the companion to the screenplay is a detailed compendium of the ideas I had that helped formulate near every aspect of my screenplay, 'Big Cat's GB'. Simply put; if you have read the screenplay the companion recount the real life stories, people and events that eventually morphed into the script. These morphed events that eventually became scenes in the screenplay range from some of my own dating disasters, pranks played on a stranger and on me, stories from my university years, significant people and places from my past and of course many eliments from my none-native big cat investigations.  It's an eye opener for sure; but a funny, moving and insightfull one at that. I hope!

'Robert's Register' the screenplay....

'Robert's Register' is the bitter sweat story of a group of children with learning difficulties and their teachers. Robert, a child with learning dificulties, witnessess a man being murdered in the back of a car whilst on a school trip. The resultant story is I hope one of adventure, humour, brutality and betrayal set in the somewhat confusing world that children with learning difficulties find themselves inhabiting. I describe it to people with considerable pride as, 'Forrest Gump with Balls'.

'Clish' the screenplay....

'Clish' and alien from anotther world and Kim, a solicitor from New York, are the two central charecters in the script. They have to do battle for the right of their prosepctive species to survive. With the world's population unknowingly supporting Kim in every aspect of her forthcomming contest and the American military and it's allies brutally conditioning and manipulating the reluctant herowin into a ruthless killing machine, can she be ready in time to face 'Clish', and will everything be setted once the fighting finishes?

'How I Walked Myself Physically & Mentally Heaither'....

For your information I was a former semi-professional rugby league player, hold a BEd Honours Degree with QTS (qualified teacher status) in Phsical Education, Secondary, majoring in Sports Pyscology. I was the whole school co-ordinator for PE in a profound and multiple learning dificulties school & held the same position in a primary school. I also worked in nemerious secondary and middle schools as a PE teacher.

If you or someone you know has had to or does experience life suffering from depression and or anxiety, as I have, then I suggest reading my earnest and experience based book about, 'How I Walked Myself Physically and Mentally Healthier'. 

 

The book details what I did, simply through walking over a twenty year period, to help me be able to better manage three lifelong health conditions; depression, anxiety & a slight heart condition. I earnestly believe that anyone expreiencing these conditions & taking note of the detailed manner and presented advice / walking methodology found in the book & adapting this to your personal circumstances may find some benifit to simmilar health conditions which beseat them.

 

The book contains a detailed history to the onset of the condions (in my early twenties), the significant debilitating effects on my mental and physical health over the next twenty year period & a detailed breakdoiwn of what I did (using an action research walking methodoligy) to support & develop a benifitial walking habbit. This walking habbit was developed initially on flat walking terrain, then progressed to hill walking & finally to using a rucksack (with 12Kg of weight in it) to walk these same hills for one and a half hours three to four times a week; which I still do today.

 

I will introduce to you to my concepts of; 'walking fategue', 'consolidation periods', 'developing your natural walking pace' & much more in a concice, detailed & step-by-step & chronological guide based entirly from my own life experiences. The books contents page is now presnted:
